7 Wonders Companion App Reviews

This app used to be indispensable for 7 Wonders. The stat tracking is very detailed and adds a lot to the games replay value. However, its been about three years since the last update and the app desperately needs cloud saving or the ability to transfer data to another device. Finally, the fact that expansions like Babel and other 7 wonders games, like Duel, havent been added, takes away from an otherwise fantastic app.

My title says it all. I love this app and use it all the time but it doesnt work with the latest expansion Babel and doesnt correctly support eight players. I really hope they update the app and also make one for seven wonders Duel.

Used to use this all the time. But it no longer works. The scoring screen is completely blank.

This would be an easy 5 star if it supported all the expansions but as it does not, I have resorted back to the dreaded pen paper calculation, meaning the stats arent accurate.

I bought this app when it first released and have gotten a lot of use or of it over the years, but the app really needs an update with the release of Babel. Without support for that expansion, this app is decreasingly useful. In fact, one reason I have not played much Babel is because this app doesnt support it. Please update it soon! Make it useful again.

This app is not bad so far. It could use an update though and have support for the Babel expansion (this was mentioned by another person almost two years ago, so it could have been done by now). It also doesnt have any card for Cities in the "card lists and chains" menu, but explanations for their symbols are mentioned in the "description of the symbols" menu. Pretty good app other than that!

Best Board game ever created! Im not sure how many copies Ive bought as gifts and how many were bought off my recommendation, but no one has been disappointed. And each expansion continues to wow and impress! A couple bugs/upgrades for this app: I have 3 score books from all the old games Ive played, yet when I enter them the scores add up incorrectly. Could there be a separate way to enter old games? (the only down side is I dont know which wonder boards were used) The way Military, Science and Civilian add up is neat and can be helpful for new players, but it slows down seasoned players who can just call out totals faster. Can you make an option of the current way or just a number pad like the other stats? Once a game is saved can you make the info editable incase of errors? Ive been booted during the "adding up scores" screen and had to re-enter everything (this may have been fixed since the last update) Under description of symbols (I was bored and looking through them) there is an error on the write up & symbol for the last guild symbol info. Hopefully this helps and isnt just really annoying! Keep up the awesome work, its a great app and almost perfect.

Wonderful 7 wonders app! Keeps all your statistics and introduces a streamlined way of inputting scores. Also nice to have the new cities exp symbols inside to help deciphering what they mean but over time wont new that anymore. One thing I would like is the ability to edit games in case of mistakes instead of having to delete the game and start over, as well as being able to register a player for a game after it has been played and stored. Cant do that right now. The amount of statistics it keeps is great but I can think of even more stats to track that shouldnt be that hard to add. Overall though, I love it!

Great app that works well with the game. Great graphics! One correction we noticed was on the Catan wonder board side B is missing a plus leader card symbol for the first wonder stage and missing a 5 victory points for the second wonder stage. Would also love to be able to have the option to input players names and keep track of individual players history.

It appears the developer is listening to feedback, most of the features mentioned by people in reviews are now in the app (they werent when the game was first released). I can calculate the scores manually but go out of theway to use the app just for the stats. Being enable to track win percentages against opponents and things like the percentage of victory points originating from card types/player is very extremely useful. My only suggestion would be the ability to some how export/import or sync the stats between multiple iOS devices belonging to different people. We play games now where multiple people want to use the app just so they can capture the data. Would be nice just to use 1 device and have the stats emailed and imported or something.

This is a helpful and easy to use app that definitely helps with playing the game. The card reference is useful during the game and the scoring tools definitely help with the somewhat cumbersome scoring in the game. Finally, great stats tracking as well. Well worth the money if you have the game.

This app is a fantastic addition to the seven wonders game, everything in it is useful, especially the science card calculator that makes scoring fast and easy. Seriously with out a doubt best money for an app I have ever paid! Please Repos keep making expansions and extras for this game, we play it weekly with friends and love it every time something new is added. I would love to see something added to the military aspect of it to make it more desirable and profitable at the end of an age. You guys rock! Keep it up!

Great work on the app. My favourite features of the app are the scientific calculator and the game score input (along with the historical statistics). I would love to see an expanded card tree to include all the cards from the expansions as well as the base game. Also an ability to import and export data would be outstanding.

This is the best boardgame companion app Ive ever seen, its well worth the cost and other designers should look to this as the model. It does everything you could want: random setup w/ whichever expansions, scoring assistant, record keeping plus a bonus wonder plus stats stats stats. Player stats, wonder stats, game stats, card type stats. Perfect! My number one hope is that the ipad and iphone apps could be made to sync stats. Strongly recommended.

Does not have the Tower of Babel expanssion

The companion app is fantastic, but incomplete now. We never played without it, yet since we acquired the latest Babel expansion for the game, we havent been able to use the app, as it has not been updated to include Babel.

This app is great, but they need to add the Babel expansion for the scoring! Please add it, and Ill revise the review to 5 stars.

App works great other than the lack of support for the newest expansion--Tower of Babel. The app is now useless because of this.
